Sugo Gastrobar: Reviews & Ratings
My friend brought me here for a post birthday dinner tonight. Her brother in law had his wedding here, and they had such great things to say about it…and they weren’t lying! The atmosphere and decor is beautiful, warm, clean, and welcoming. The tables are spaced apart comfortably and the waitstaff and owner were very nice and attentive . The menu was unreal. It was so hard to choose a dish! Luckily, our waiter was very helpful in helping us decide. Everything tasted absolutely delicious . The drinks were so good too. I normally stick with wine, but I tried their cocktails, and I very pleased. They really care about their mixtures and the taste of their drinks. It isn’t just your ordinary mixed drink. The cocktails are a must have! Here are some pictures of our grilled octopus app and fig bruschetta app, along with our two mains. I got the Cavatelli Pugliese and my friend got the Linguine Carbonara. SO delicious! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you!
My husband and I were taken to dinner by our financial advisor and we must say he impressed us with this restaurant. The Unshackled red wine and the Smokey Old Fashion were an impressive introduction to what awaited us. The plates of Fig Bruschetta and Egg Plant Rollatini were nice portions and extremely flavorful. I decided to take a chance and order the Grilled Octopus. It did not disappoint ! It had a wonderful spice marinade and the potatoes tasted dry rubbed. So impressive. We had their special Sugo dessert, at Curtis’ recommendation and decided we found our new favorite place. Did I mention the service was spectacular ? Curtis was our server and he was professional, attentive, knowledgeable, pleasant and on point with food recommendations. Returning soon.
Absolutely amazing experience! Had the avocado toast with bacon and it was superb! The espresso martini flight was delish and so much fun. Thank you Niko for taking care of us and it was awesome to meet you, Enrique!
This place is exactly what I was looking for. Went there for a solo dinner. Food was super tasty. Pasta was cooked perfect and the short rib, meatball and sausage in my dish were flavorful and tender. Jim was tending bar. He was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Drinks were good as well! Highly recommend.
My husband has been eyeing this restaurant and he made the reservation for our date last night. We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday (& parents night out ). First of all the cocktails were perfect! I had the blood orange cosmo, he had the Dragon’s Eye. We shared arancini for an appetizer- delicious! There were so many options for dinner that sounded amazing but I went with the Pappardelle Di Mare (homemade pasta) - I ate every bite! My husband had the Veal Milanese. He also really enjoyed it. We had a peak at the pizza from those sitting near us and even the that looked really good. Service was great and the atmosphere was warm and beautiful. I can’t wait to come back here soon!
This place completely blew me away! The moment I walked in, I felt like I’d discovered a hidden treasure—beautiful ambiance, warm energy, and a true love for food in every detail. The Summer Thyme Bees Knees and the Manhattan Nero were a refreshing start. The fried meatballs tasted just like something a nonna would make—tender and full of flavor. The fettuccine limone was bright and creamy, and the Sunday gravy? A hug in a bowl. Everything tasted homemade and prepared with so much heart. This place isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience.
A very interesting place with a great atmosphere. The food was delicious, the drinks were just right, and the service was attentive and friendly. Prices are reasonable for the quality, making it a spot worth coming back to.
